Employee and Dependent Hardship Fund

The Employee and Dependent Hardship Fund (EDHF) is an annual pool of $50,000 intended to address urgent special circumstances resulting in financial hardship for Unit 3 bargaining unit employees and their dependents.

Administered wholly by CUPE 3902, the local has developed criteria and an application process for approval of claims and disbursement of funds. Read more information about the Unit 3 EDHF here. Sign in to the Member Portal using the link below to apply.

Please note: Applications to the 2025-26 EDHF (for expenses incurred between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026) will no longer be accepted after September 15, 2026.

At this time, the 2025-26 EDHF will be closed and only applications to the 2026-27 EDHF will be accepted (for expenses incurred between September 1, 2026 and August 31, 2027).
