Some postdocs teach courses at UofT and therefore are members of both Unit 5 (internally funded postdocs) and Unit 1 (graduate students and postdocs who teach).

The Unit 5 bargaining surveys showed that many postdocs are feeling overworked but also that many are eager to gain more teaching experience. In this info session, the Unit 5 Bargaining Committee will review current CA language to outline the context of postdoc teaching, discuss different approaches for this round of bargaining, and get feedback from Unit 5 members about their own experiences related to postdoc teaching to inform our bargaining proposals.
