Seeking: U7 Members for Subcommittee
We're seeking four (4) Unit 7 members devoted to promoting equity for the Unit 7 Employee Hardship and Equity Fund (EHEF) Subcommittee.
Members must be able to commit to attending a meeting every few months from September to August to vote on anonymous applications. This is a unique opportunity to promote equity within the Local and assist your fellow members.
The Unit 7 EHEF Subcommittee is chaired by the Local’s Equity Officer and will also consist of the Local’s Unit 7 Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer (or designate), President (or designate), and up to four Unit 7 members. To apply to serve on the EHEF Subcommittee, submit a brief statement of interest to your Equity Officer at eo@cupe3902.org. While there are no set hours, the honorarium for each position is calculated at 13.13 hours/year at the SGS-II rate (estimated to be approximately $600 to $700, paid at the end of the fund year).
