Solidarity with Local 2703!

On Friday, June 13, CUPE 3902 members joined the Toronto picket line of CUPE 2073, the local representing workers at Canadian Hearing Services.

L2073 has been on strike for eight weeks. During this time, the employer has laid off approximately 200 workers and refuses to return to the bargaining table. These workers deserve a fair contract now!

While visiting, CUPE 3902 members learned picket chants in sign language and gained insight into the vital services that Deaf and hard-of-hearing workers provide to their communities. We wish CUPE 2073 strength and success in their pickets and bargaining efforts.

We plan to continue showing solidarity by visiting other locals on strike. If you’d like to join us, contact your steward or email gvp@cupe3902.org
