Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The election for General Vice-President will take place electronically through SimplyVoting on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 and polls will be open between 9 AM and 7 PM. It’s possible that this ballot will land in your other or junk folder. Check these folders if your ballot does not appear in your main inbox. 

Members registered as political members by Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023 at 6 PM will automatically receive a ballot. If you do not receive a ballot and believe that you should have received one, email info@cupe3902.org by May 4th at 1 PM.

You can check if you are a political member by logging in to the Member Portal.

Once logged in, if you see that the field labeled CUPE No. has a value, then you are a political member.

If you have not yet registered for the Member Portal, click the Sign Up Now button on the login page. Enter your name and Member ID as found in the footer of the election notice you received by email from Madeleine Link, your Chief Returning Officer (CRO), under the heading Sign Your Union Card! Continue to follow the instructions to sign your political membership card. If you encounter any difficulties in registering, please contact website@cupe3902.org.
