Thank you for visiting CUPE 3902’s page devoted to the 2021 Executive Election. Below, you can find details about how and when to vote, who has been acclaimed to their position, and which positions are up for election this year. Elections will be conducted using Simply Voting.

Election Timeline

Thursday, April 22: nominations for positions close at the CUPE 3902 AGM
Monday, April 26: election information e-mailed to members of the local
Tuesday, April 27: candidate statements for contested positions will be posted to the CUPE 3902 website
Thursday, April 29: Election Day! Polls will be open between 9am-7pm.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Voting wll be conducted electronically using Simply Voting. A ballot will automatically be sent by email to all eligible voters at 9am on April 29, 2021. It is possible that this ballot lands in your “other” or “junk” folders so please check these folders should your ballot not appear in your inbox. 

Members who are registered by 6pm on April 28, 2021 will automatically receive a ballot If you do not receive a ballot on election day and believe that you are eligible to have received one, please email Ann Cope no later than 2pm on April 29, 2021. 

You can check if you are a political member by logging in to the Member Portal at the top right-hand corner of the Local’s website.

Once logged in, if the field labeled “CUPE No” has a value, then you are a political member. 

If you have not yet registered for the Portal, click on the “sign up now” button and use the information provided in the election email you received from the Chief Returning Officer (CRO). If you encounter any difficulties in registering, please contact website@cupe3902.org
