SESSIONAL INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANTS

HOW TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

The Department of Management may hire Sessional Instructional Assistants to assist our Lecturers in some of its undergraduate courses. Positions available will be posted on the Departmental website and on our Departmental Bulletin Board on the 2nd floor of the Kaneff Centre in the vicinity of Room 231. To be considered for a position, an application and Curriculum Vitae must be submitted to:

A valid email address is required. We prefer that applications and CVs be submitted electronically.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Generally speaking, we expect to make decisions concerning courses in July for Fall or Winter courses; November for Spring courses; and in April for Summer courses. However, some decisions may be made earlier or later than these time frames, depending on circumstances. Unexpected vacancies may arise at any time.

Applications will be retained for twelve (12) months. Persons who submit applications and resumes will receive emailed job postings for specific positions for the subsequent twelve (12) months.

This notice is posted pursuant to the CUPE Local 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement. Please note that in accordance with that agreement, preference in hiring is given to students enrolled in the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Toronto or prospective graduate students who have made application to be so enrolled, in accordance with the provisions of Article 14.03 (a) of the CUPE Local 3902 Unit 1 Collective Agreement.
