Plant Histology
The Department of Life Sciences, University of Toronto at Scarborough is recruiting a Course Instructor to teach BGYC29H3F (Plant Histology) during the 2005 Fall Session. The course will run from September 12, 2005 to December 5, 2005 with a final exam period from December 10 to 21, 2005.
Lectures are scheduled for Fridays 9:00 to 11:00 am. There are two sections of practicals; practical 1 is scheduled for Tuesdays 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and practical 2 is scheduled for Tuesdays 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The course has an estimated enrolment of 48. The estimated TA allocation is 120 hours.

In accordance with the current CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement, the Sessional Lecturer I rate of pay will be $5,750 for a half course (F or S) inclusive of vacation pay. The Sessional Lecturer II rate of pay will be $6,250 for a half course (F or S) inclusive of vacation pay.
The duties include conducting lectures, overseeing laboratories, preparation of mid-term and final exam, marking/grading, office hours and miscellaneous clerical tasks. Successful candidates should have or be near completion of their Ph.D. Candidates should have teaching experience in plant histology.

Molecular Aspects of Cellular and Genetic Processes
The Department of Life Sciences, University of Toronto at Scarborough is recruiting a Course Instructor to teach BGYB11H3S (Molecular Aspects of Cellular and Genetic Processes) during the 2006 Winter Session. The course will run from January 9 to April 7, 2006 with a final exam period from April 17 to May 2, 2006.
Lectures are scheduled for Tuesdays 4:00 to 6:00 pm. A tutorial will be held every third week on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The course has an estimated enrolment of 500. The estimated TA allocation is 170 hours.

Cell and Molecular Biology Laboratory
The Department of Life Sciences, University of Toronto at Scarborough is recruiting a Course Instructor to teach BGYB12H3S (Cell and Molecular Biology Laboratory) during the 2006 Winter Session. The course will run from January 9 to April 7, 2006 with a final exam period from April 17 to May 2, 2006.
Lectures are scheduled for Mondays 9-10 am. There are four sections of practicals; sections 1 and 2 are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays 10 am to 1 pm, sections 3 and 4 are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays 2-5 pm. The course has an estimated enrolment of 96. The estimated TA allocation is 480 hours.
