Equity Working Group Report
We are an equity and diversity working group. As per the motion to create a Working Group on Issues of Equity and Diversity (passed at the May 2008 General Members' Meeting), we have a specific mandate to suggest revisions to the Local's equality statement and to make recommendations for improving the Local's equity practices.
The Equity and Diversity Working Group was struck as a resolution at the May 5, 2008 GMM. The Working Group met over the course of three meetings in the summer of 2008 and produced this report in time for the October 2008 GMM.
