CUPE National: we pay .85% of the total gross monthly payroll as well as $1 per member who signs a membership application form
- This is a direct representative affiliation. Locals participate in and direct National by sending delegates to the CUPE National biennial convention, the union’s governing body. Governance structures are all open to the participation of members through election.
- CUPE National supports us with access to a National Strike Fund, communications, research, national political campaigns, and solidarity across sectors.

Toronto and York Region Labour Council $.47 per member based on a monthly average of ¼ membership for each quarter.
o This is a direct representative affiliation. The Toronto and York Region Labour Council is a central labour body that combines the strength of hundreds of local unions representing 195,000 workers and their families. Delegates from affiliated locals participate in the monthly meetings, elect officers and executive board and determine the work of our committees.
o Its mandate is to organize and advocate on issues that are vital to working people throughout the region, and to carry out local campaigns for the Canadian Labour Congress.
